Job Description :

Acts as business Lead/Representative on all phases of capital project implementation. Project responsibilities may include developing business cases, documenting business requirements, authoring RFPs, evaluating vendors, testing, training, etc. Will be the direct point of contact with IT for Transmission Lines applications. Completes and supports departmental projects designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of computerized functions and services within Transmission Lines. Provides technical and business knowledge on projects to ensure implementation of systems that meet the needs of Transmission Lines. Perform system administrations tasks to the Transmission Lines applications, these tasks include but are not limited to granting access, removal of access, troubleshooting, error log review, training, etc. Assists in activities associated with hardware/software evaluations, package selection or system definition specifications ensuring functional requirements are met and business objectives are achieved in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. Effectively communicates with all levels in the company by blending appropriate levels of technical and business detail to ensure issues are thoroughly understood. Develops and maintains relationships with clients, peers, vendors and management. Assists in training, organizing, planning and facilitating user group meetings, for Transmission Lines production systems. Assists in the maintenance, repair, upgrades, and enhancements of the computer software applications and information technology systems used in Transmission Lines. Assists IT Business Analysts, Technology Support Center and Desktop Operations with operational issues. Provides backup support for Transmission Lines personnel as required. Performs complex geospatial analysis for Transmission Lines applications. Identifies, plans and provides data analytics and support for business strategies. Assist with gathering, analyzing and compiling data to respond to management inquiries. Performs quality control checks of data entered into systems by others to verify accuracy levels are consistent with set goals. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Education & Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, GIS and a minimum of 3 years of experience in Transmission Lines, or an equivalent combination of education and experience on a year-for-year basis, is required. Must have an excellent background in computer applications as well as corporate information systems and be proficient in the use of standard computer application software and hardware.
