As the Data Networking subject matter expert for the load-balancers and PKI environments, this role is heavily involved in data networking in the creation of load-balancing virtual IPs(VIPs) and certificates for our NetScaler infrastructure. In addition, this role is involved in the various cloud migration projects to Microsoft Azure and Network Segmentation of the Data Centers with Software Defined Networking (SDN). Other responsibilities include helping other IT teams work with vendors to install certs and provide direction in securely deploying internal and external applications.
Responsible for critical utility IT networking hardware, software, design, engineering, security, support and analytical activities associated with one or more technical areas. Provides high-level research on unusual and unique projects, recommending direction and plans to deploy and maintain secure infrastructure capabilities that enhance reliability, support business strategy and enhance the client experience while minimizing growth in overall operating costs.

Required Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology with minimal networking experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience on a year-for-year basis is required. Incumbent must effectively deal with rapid technological and business changes while maintaining enthusiasm and displaying sound judgment and common sense.

Preferred Qualifications

Load-balancing and Netscaler infrastructure experience. Continuing education courses/technical seminars helpful. A successful academic or work background indicating a demonstrated ability to absorb information, apply conceptual skills in practical applications, and achieve desired results in a highly technical, operating environment. Participation in continuing education courses and/or technical seminars is a plus. Automation scripting skills using tools like Ansible, Python, and Powershell a plus. Working knowledge of Cisco IOS & Nexus, ACI, SD-WAN, Quality of Service (QOS), DNS/DHCP, Load Balancing, Cisco FTD and Palo Alto is a plus.
